What Is Love?

Is love a harmonic heaven or haunting hell on this quest I daily dwell?
A benevolent blessing or perhaps an empty shell of a bewitching spell

A candlestick lit at both ends, stuck in the middle as my love pretends
A burning wick of my devotion defends the poison inside me descends.
