What Is Love

I'm blessed to have you,
But I'm cursed to love you.
I don't want to fall in love again....
Or maybe I do?
But the thought terrifies me.
You don't feel the same?

I'm blessed to have you,
But I'm cursed to love you.
What is love?
I don't even know anymore.
I used to think love was like glue.
It links your mind to another's.
It fuses you to their hip.
Your hands can't stay away.
Your hands can't get a grip on reality.

I'm blessed to have you,
But I'm cursed to love you.
Your mind paints a pretty picture of the future.
You don't wanna get your hopes up,
But you can't help it.
You want to give them the world.
You want to sacrifice all of yourself.
You do exactly what you want to do.

I'm blessed to have you,
But I'm cursed to love you.
Cursed to love you because I can't have you.
Paradoxical and inexplicable, oh well.
I'll learn to deal....
