What is love?
Don’t ask me,
How should I know
I can only guess
Is it the simple brush of a hand
As searing as your first kiss
As loud as your first born crying
A big brother pushing you on a swing
A simple kiss on the cheek from a grandmother
A small hug from a little child
Silly love notes
A long kiss goodnight
A phone call that changes your life
A quick hug goodbye
A quiet hello
A long and sad bye bye
Love
What is love?
Don’t ask me
Love is whatever you want it to be
