What Is Love?
what is love to you
a term to sign with your name
a hollow box of empty promises
a packet in your purse to smooth over
your sharp comments
who do you love
other than yourself
in reply to everything you weave a story
of yourself
love is the selfless giving
not expecting anything in return
and rejoicing
at reciprocation
