What Is Love
Love is something that has always been undefined,
In the initial stage, it is only in the heart where it is confined.
Gradually, it finds space in your actions and mind,
And finally acts as a soul force in all our lives.
I feel that it is the strongest feeling that one can have,
We have had wars because of it when its intensity reaches the crest on the graph.
However, it is something that has its own tests to pass,
It demands you to constantly give and not expect anything back
Many people misuse this terminology, Alas!
It requires you to be rid of jealousy for that being,
Something that most people cannot do even in dreams,
It requires you to stand by that being eternally,
Be a source of strength permanently,
And seek to wash away their inadequacies.
This feeling doesn’t need to have an aggressive face when things aren’t your way
That is when the real practical exam comes to play
And when you have to keep all negativity at bay.
People- don’t give up, for, life throughout has such challenges set up for you.
Your desperation for love will certainly help triumph you
If not in that phase, then other arenas and goals which you pursue.
But, wait—all is not about sacrifice and compromise,
It is about a lot of feelings of warmth which arise
As time, time flies.
In all, it is surely a complicated emotion,
But use it to the best of your capabilities with all your devotion
And widen your horizons to be as vast as the ocean.
