What Is a Life

What good are eyes when you can not see?

What good are ears when you can not hear?

What good is a nose when you can not smell?

What good is a mouth when you can not eat?

What good is a tongue when you can not speak?

What good are legs when you can not walk?

What good are hands when there is nothing to hold on to?

What good is a mind when there is nothing to learn?

What good is a dream if you don't have hope?

What good is a body if there is no soul?

What good is a life?

It was such a pleasure to read your poetry today Kable. I hope to be able in the next few weeks to find the time and energy to read and comment. May you walk through the garden of inspiration and continue to write and share your poetry with us. Love, Carol
