What Is a Friend
A friend understands, without question,
When you’ve had enough.
A sympathetic ear,
An understanding heart-
Someone who is always there
When you’re falling apart.
Someone who picks up the pieces,
You’ve thrown away,
And guides you along
To find a bright, new day.
