What Inspires You To Write Poetry

Version 1
A good book, nonfiction, fantasy or textbook      
A good exert, from yoga or gyms effort               
Sometimes a lack of rest, and being depressed    
A good look, a walk along trees near a brook        
A good tune, the mind and write will attune           
Sometimes out of breath, from a death                    
A good moon, in the warm month of June   
A good movie that carries me in the journey     
Sometimes when I’m sad, or even going mad.         
A good word, the dictionary day featured        
A good site, an invite for research to insight   

Version 2

Aqua Marine Date: 9/5/2017 8:01:00 AM Both forms here are good, like the use of internal rhyme, and that you are experimenting with " differences" in rhythm... ( instead of using " I dont know" as your form, the most common form, where there is no specific form is " free verse..." the site has explanations for just about everything to do with poetry- Im still in that learning curve myself...looking forward to your third version....
