What in the world is going on Has everyone lost their mind Don’t even want to turn the tv on Most of us are not blind Don’t know what to believe anymore Is it fake or is it real Should I believe what I hear When will truth be revealed What has happened to people Where did we go wrong I wonder who is actually right Can the country remain strong Will there always be division Can it ever be conquered How do we move beyond the hate Is anyone else bothered How do we move forward in life And get past all of this Maybe we never will Heaven awaits I guess.

Nicely penned, Julia, I have been asking myself these same questions last night and this morning. It seems everyone has their own agenda and they report the "news" accordingly. It is frustrating after a while trying to decide what is true and what is fake. Welcome to Poetry Soup! I look forward to reading more of your work. John
