What If You Hear Clock Click

Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick
But what if you hear this instead?
Clock click clock click clock click

Numbers and time were inventions of others
They have nothing to do with the delight of your soul
Run to the freedom of your inner waves

Dive into the ocean of your desires
Do not wait until you are too sick and old to enjoy life
Wake up! Your soul wants what your soul wants.
Do it now; ooze into your natural rhythm.

Oh, absolutely! "Do not wait until you are too sick and old to enjoy life." So true, but even if you are "old," you are only as "old" as you feel. Enjoy every day. Loved your poem, Caren.
