What If We Shot Back

What if? What if we started shooting back? An eye for an eye! A tooth for a tooth! A life for a life! One white for one black! Elder for elder! One youth for one youth! What if we did not want to be targets Anymore? How would that affect you all? Your politics and your money markets Would have both their backs up against the wall! What if we were broken or "on the brink," And decided to just shoot up the town? What would all the other colored ones think; The red, yellow, and, yes, even the brown! What if we stood up for ourselves like men? I wonder what would happen to us then!
