What If Jesus Wasn'T There
What if Jesus wasn't there, what would happen then?
When the road was rocky and long,
When the chips were down all over the ground,
When there was not another soul around
That was when evil stepped in and took the upper hand.
He turned my world upside down.
He brought with him the cold and lonely darkness.
The agony was strong and deep, it made me weep.
I reached for a hand, but nothing was there.
There was no one around to even care.
When I slipped and fell, he laughed in my face.
Jesus was just not in that place.
What if Jesus wasn't there,What would happen then?
What if he grew tired of waiting on me?
Waiting for my heart to see all he had to offer me.
What if he grew tired of protecting me.
What if Jesus wasn't there, where would I be?
