What If It's True
What if it’s true about this thing some call creation? There must be a creator to have a creation.
What if it’s true that man started in a garden? A creator wanted a friend not someone to pardon.
What if it’s true that man committed cosmic treason? Hind sight shows joining Satan didn’t stand to reason.
The serpentine being promised, “You will be like God."
How’s that working for you, being your own god?
What if it’s true that the creator has 10 simple rules? They could not be that hard for thinking fools.
Or could they? Here are just six.
What if it’s true that one God is for you?
What if it’s true that we are to worship a Jew?
What if it’s true?
What if it’s true that we should take a day and rest?
What if it’s true that honoring your parents is best?
What if it’s true?
What if it’s true that you should not do the deed with another’s spouse?
What if it’s true that you should not steal or covet someone’s house?
What if it’s true?
The creator became a man and lived a righteous life.
To the cross the innocent went where he suffered and died
He rose again to complete his task
And again I say, What if it’s true?
What if it’s true that he paid it all?
What if it’s true that I am free from Adam’s fall
He took the Father’s punishment each of us deserves
He gave me his righteousness without reserve
All it takes is faith in the Son.
The heart goes through changes.
Then you could be one.
What if it’s true?
