What If

What if i would have chased you.
Refused to let you go
of all we had and all we could have had.
What if.
What if.
Would you still be by my side
helping me through each
troubling day.
Would you still sit and laugh with
me at my house.
Help me hold my head up
high and to continue to live each
day to the fullest with a smile
on my face.
What if.
