What If

She was perfect, he was amazing, but mama said don’t judge a book by its cover because everyone has a few bad chapters

And dad always told me no one is perfect so why picture standards that can’t be met

So, I told myself always be realistic because feelings deserve to be held gently

What if everyone thought this way what would love look like today?

p.s. don’t let expectations blind you…
