What If

WHAT IF...

our human minds are filled with what ifs 
are we interpreting Gods promises right
what if Bibles are somehow misread wits
as prayers lay unanswered night after night

all the while we wrestle with our doubts 
nagging, niggling us strategically- relentlessly
what if trials remain unresolved droughts
fallen faith incited by the ‘enemy’-endlessly

how do we counteract--our ‘what ifs’ ignore
is wisdom of God a prerequisite to lost Faith
what if we focus perception to His love more
God working for the good of our future & fate

when we choose to take hold of His hand
what ifs disappear with His promised land

Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see—Hebrews 11:1
