What If

Don't you wish you can just go 
back in time to where 
everything was better then it is 
now before your hair got 
knotted with the lies you had to 
keep inside to protect your self 
from getting any more harm 
then you already have been 
through or maybe you just wish 
you can get in a car with a 
drunk driver just so you can 
crash and forget things for a 
while so things will be better so 
you don't have to remember 
the pain he put you through 
and you don't have to see the 
scars from how he broke you 
and left you with no words to 
spear just an accident so you 
can forget it all just anything to 
make you forget the color of his 
eyes, the touch of his hands 
making it seem like he would 
understand and the sent he left 
it was just a boy who you 
couldn't forget just a crash and 
a brain damage would be worth 
forgetting the pain your words 
left me in.

So, I'm passing that along to you my dear friend. Everything in life happens for a reason. ..it can only make you a stronger and wiser individual. Just my thoughts on it..enjoyed reading your poem Brittney.
