What If

What if you made this choice
To return and scream my name
Below balconies of dewfall
Holy?
What if you showed
At the edge of my time
Grasping last tears from my eyes?
What if your words could travel me
To islands of fire
To live this agony from the start,
Praying for the existence of your smile?
Fate signs still passing by my window
And I am wondering how many moons
I have to reach in order to see the light.
What if I held their melodies for you,
To travel with them together
In a journey I dream and betray
Every single day of my life?
