What If

There's some who never see the sun Beyond the light it brings It's more than warmth upon our face It's life to all who live With hope to see another dawn That rises to begin The search for their own happiness Whose journey starts within Where time allows you free to wonder What if tomorrow ends And I cannot recall the sounds The morning birds have sung That played so long outside my door That welcomed every one But maybe took for granted Of the thought they'd always be There, within the morning light To sing their song for me While looking at the painted sky That changes with the wind I see what some, will ask too late What if tomorrow ends Kevin D.
