What If
What if you turned and realised I was gone
Would you reach out to find me
Would fear of losing me cloak your heart?
What if you fell silently
And the warm breath deserted your nostrils
And you found yourself behind the veil where my trembling hands can't reach you,
Would your last words to me fill your hollow heart with bliss?
What if you had the chance to see through my eyes
And you saw how much you mean to me
Would it change a thing??
Would I see you smile or remain indifferent?
Would tears flood your cheeks or remain in their ducts.
Would you be kind to open up your mind and heart to me
And would I be forever etched in your memory!!
