What I Wish For You My Friend

I wish you had the ocean,
To match your eyes of blue
I wish you could command the fish
To do their best and live their truth.

I wish you the best dreams
The ones from which we never want to wake up
I wish you had an inkling of the wonderfulness
Others admire and respect in you

I wish you to always stay innocent and fun,
But I also wish you understood the reason people
Adore you is not what you have done for them,
But what you are constantly doing.

I wish you knew the you
That we know.
I wish I could show you your reflection
In a star
