What I Need To Hear

What I Need To Hear

I need to hear the voice of god
I need to feel Your presence
Assure me that you hear my prayers
As I sit with you in reverence

I need to hear all will be well
Well within my soul
That the cross is not too great to bear
And I'll emerge restored and whole

I need to hear You'll mold me
Each and every day
For you are the Potter
And I am the clay

I need to hear You're there for me
That when I call you'll come
To free me from the worry
And the feeling of being numb

I need to hear You're with me
Walking by my side
An omnipresent God
Always there to guide
