what i mean is,

I want, more than anything to be let into your world the one which you've walked alone whose buildings were built by those who will never see their work I don't care what it looks like I'm not here for the pretty buildings that you are most proud of I want to walk with you barefoot, touching all the glass shards which you left stained with years of your blood fighting to pick up every piece that was left of some of the tallest buildings you once loved most No, I won't take the pieces you can't give away I'm not that angel I'll leave it all the way it was I understand, that together they make up who you are I don't want to change that, But look again at what's been built And see how much space there is for more I want to hold the hand inside you and walk through the streets where you grew up Those that you can't bear to let anyone see Together, we can look And I'll hold your hand tighter when you can't bring your head up But look at me and these streets Look at the buildings ahead of us that kiss the skies how small everything here now seems I'll walk it through, whenever you are ready to Because I want, more than anything, for you to let me into your world
