What I Know
I know
That falling out of love with you
Is what I am supposed to do
It seems it is time
Time to start looking forward
Leave the past behind
But when you left
You took my heart
Don’t want to love you anymore
Don’t want to see my heaven in your eyes
Don’t want to miss you
Don’t want to cry
Don’t want to keep asking why
You changed my world
When you said goodbye
When will I ever feel
Ready for love again?
To be held again
By anyone but you?
If you ever find
That I cross your mind
If you ever find
You want a love that is true
I’ll be here
Loving you still
Waiting for you
And at the end of the day
Lord I pray
You might find love for me
So I tell myself to hold on
Till these feelings are gone
