What I Am

i am a strong black women 
 curves likes roads going up mountains
breast full to fill the bellies of my babies 
 hips wide like rivers
 skin like carmel candy
 a smile to stop clouds in the sky
 hair thick like oatmeal 
pride strong like hurricane winds
 I am woman
 no matter the color 
 point is I am her
 WOMAN
strong smart loving mother lover wife sister daughter WOMAN
