What He Says To Me
My name is Peter,
And these are things that Jesus said to me.
From Scripture, he will say things to all of us.
May each of us but dare to read and listen.
He told me that I would deny him three times.
I replied to him that I would never deny him.
He asked me three times if I loved him more than the others. I replied that I loved him.
With regards to John, I asked him, "What will
This man do?" His reply to me was, "What is
That to you?"
Each of us is given the gift of life with a plan
And purpose unique to us and distinct from
Others.
May we concern and busy ourselves less about what others do or will do and more about what we are to do with the life given to us. The key is what he says to ME.
