What Have We Done

Listen
Listen intently
Listen with your mind and ears
Listen for the sound of nature

Listen for the gay chirping of birds
Listen for the gentle sound of wind
Listen for the wolf howling in the distance
Listen for the sweet singing of the trees clapping hands together

Do you hear them
No, you don't
The truth shouts in silence
We have nature's blood on our hands

You have brought it home with this poem, Joshua. Man has disturbed so much!

We do indeed have Natures Blood on our hands today. Mankind's disrespect for Nature is evident all over. A well written quatrain Joshua. Welcome to the Soup....Maria
