What Has Changed

I cannot wait until you come to my class, the teacher says. I am surprised; last year she did not want me in there at all. This year she is excited to see me! What has changed? Has she loosened up her reins? Does she see a break? An interesting change of events; no idea how it has transpired. I know it will be much easier to walk in there today than last year.
