What Happened To Us

What happened to us? The us that used to be— In love— Under the Sakura tree. Surrounded by subtle blooms Hanging on tender branches, You spoke— Of dreams, risks, and chances. The sakura began to bald— Branches lost their grip. You changed— Your expression—your script. With a long yard stare— Dreaming of elsewhere, You declare— Intent to leave—without a care.
