what happened to my homework

“What happened to your homework?” I will hear her say, There’s a million things, I could talk all day, My dog tried to eat it, It grew legs and ran away, And while it was walking, A mole came and took it, Because it wasn’t day, My neighbor stole it, A breeze swept by, Swish, swish, I watched it fly! I really am sorry, But I won’t have it today, Probably not tomorrow, I have to find it anyway.
