Carrying a grudge is like carrying a rock, the longer you carry it the heavier it gets. Life was meant to be lived not endured.Life is not always fair and it's not always fun, but it's always an experience. We have to learn to take life as it comes, decide what we are going to learn from each experience, how we are going to let it affect us in our daily life and bearing all this in mind -------- KEEP ON TRUCKIN'. Remember: Learn from yesterday, it can be your best friend. Cope with today, let it be an experience. Prepare for tomorrow, each new day is a chance to do better and God really does help those who try to help themselves. He presents opportunities. What you do with those opportunities is up to you. He gives us all a free will. We are not His slaves, we are His Children.
What good is done in carrying a grudge,
And nursing wrath o'er long?
The past is past, what's done is done.
Stop singing the same of song.
To cogitate on what was done,
Will bring you naught but worry.
It irritates and sours life,
To sit and feed your fury;
So put it down and just move on,
You'll feel much better for it.
Suppress the memory of wrong,
It's best to just ignore it.
Just think about the here and now,
And let the past stay buried.
You'll be surprised how good it feels,
To drop that rock you've carried,
For so long it seemed to be,
A part of daily life.
We were meant to live our lives,
Not endure it dragging strife.
