What Goes Up Falls Apart
my heart climbed high,
on a ledge for you,
we held out our hands,
this love was brand new,
you built me up higher,
i had no memory of the ground,
when you held me close,
i was floating on a cloud,
then came the silence,
the ignoring my distress,
you took me to the stars,
then you left me with the mess,
of a heart shredded to pieces,
and a soul broken in two,
just because you got bored,
i was no longer flying next to you,
no now i am falling,
and it scares me love,
im watching you move forward,
on your own up above,
i know that we are done now,
you made it clear as day,
that what goes up falls down,
and now im down to stay.
