What Goes On Behind Broken Eyes
I close my eyes and a curtain of tears unfurls and a movie plays on a waterfall like
screen. The film unfolds as it's projected through neurons of memories of the first day
I seen you to today, in days I don't see you at all.
It flies by so quick almost as if i was sitting on the remote control and the fast
forward button was being pushed down. I could only make out a glimpse of your smile
here and there. If I could only pause the frame in motions just to see you smile. I'll
pretend you are smiling back at me and I will tell everything I never had the courage
to say. I will scream my loudest till my lungs blow out " I love you!"
All I can do is wish you could here me now. As the image of you washes away the
screen runs dry and only a memory of you is left behind... On this movie that plays all
the time, on the screen behind my broken eyes.
