What God Can Turn

Poured out, broken, laid out here.
Unexpected peace came near.
In my devastation came
A tender voice, said my name.

Undeserving, soiled and stained
Jesus washed my sins away.
Such grace, mercy, who can tell?
All I know is…it is well.

Though desperately crying,
On grace alone relying
He comforted; met me there
Pouring peace; and cast despair.

My brokenness; near to death
Until near Him, felt His breath.
Only God can save like this,
Turning brokenness, to bliss.
