What Gift Could You Give To Him

If you could have an audience
With the King of France or Spain,
What would you give to him?
What gift would you bring?

Would it be the very best gift
That you could afford,
Maybe jewels and diamonds,
Or fine silver and gold?

Friend, if you could have an audience
With Jesus, the King of Kings,
What gift would you give to Him?
What gift would you bring?

Would you give Him your best things
Like your silver and gold,
Or would you give Him the title
To the land that you hold?

He has no need for those things
That we treasure down here.
He is the Creator and Maker
Of all the things we hold dear.

What gift would you bring to Him
Our great King of Kings?
Why not give Him yourself?
What more could you give Him, my friend?
