What Gets My Pen Going

Inspiration drives me to carve my creations. Inspiration is what I leave behind when my job is done. Inspiration that’s what I aspire to create. Inspiration drives the poets soul. Inspiration is the pressure in the back of my mind. Inspiration digs its claws deep into my skull. Inspiration the beginnings of epic contemplations. Inspiration the reason for muses. Inspiration where true serial killers get their epiphany. Inspiration first dusting of new fallen snow. Inspiration that charismatic stain on the floor. Inspiration where I dip my pen to spread my thought. Inspiration feeling of the blade as it slashes the parchment. Inspiration the songs that dig into your soul. Inspiration the first taste of blood as you sink your fangs in. Inspiration the women that have started wars. Inspiration is the affliction of a dire poet. Inspiration will be the death of me.
