What Does Your Soul Say
Hello, my name was given to me by my parent's at birth,
I did not ask to be here; see im here on this earth!
Just like you and you know this that I write, it is true,
This poem is for every single one of you!
Hello from me too you "I am here",
Just like everyone else I laugh "oh" and I do tear!
When I get cut the color of my blood is red,
When I get tired I do need to go to bed!
My stomach grumbles its time for me too eat,
And YES I do like you; I wear shoes on my feet.
If you see me I guarantee you I'll wave and be kind,
In hope's you have the same intentions in mind!
Hey, I get insecure and scared at times,
Sometimes I can be louder than windchimes.
Like you I have qualities that make me unique in my very own special way; I am me.
Understand this doesn't make me better than anybody; I am spirituality free
Positivity isn't just a word or a phrase,
It's a lifestyle that brings blessing; in itself is praised.
Small or big; true good things do follow genuinely spirited souls,
Negativity brings chaotic tolls, ignorant trolls, feelings of helpless possibly out of control.
The life you live sure you didn't ask to be here,
You didn't choose it so let me make this crystal clear.
Racism and sexism amungst many judgemental factors are obscure!
I was born in 89..
Yes I have my own story which is pretty fine cause it can cross some strangs lines.
Like you, you have a story am I right or wrong?
GOOD or BAD we all have our own song!
I don't believe that nationality should segregate different races,
We are all humans; hold my hand and see all these faces..
Each face with a story, family and hope,
Each face with pain and trying to cope!!
We hide inside wearing masks to protect a virus that kills,
SOME humans losing jobs; praying on for their next meals.
Let's reunite by making America as proud being United as One,
Hold my hand and pass this poem along!
Remember who you are; deep inside you truly know,
Maybe we didn't ask to be here but we all have a soul...
