What Does Living Mean
What do you consider living to be?
Being conscious, breathing and being able to see?
Is it work during the day, TV at night, sleep, then repeat?
Is it sitting here reading and writing just sitting in your seat?
You might see friends once a week when you have some flexibility,
but you can't help it, you have responsibility.
It could be to work, the kids, the wife, endless things.
But for us, is this all that living brings?
Barely seeing your friends and taking a short-lived vacation?
Is that what living is? Being in a state of stagnation?
No. Living is seeing yourself become something new year after year.
Living is about going out and facing head on your fear.
The best part of life is fear, fear of the unknown.
Because no one knows what happens from here to your tombstone.
Its the person who is willing to put it all out there on the line,
that will know what living is and will know what its like to shine.
Some people play it safe, and that's fine, its not my choice its his.
If I have life, then I'm going to be willing to die for it, because that's what living is.
A person can't truly live if they are afraid of death.
They will be careful until they breathe their last breath.
One day we will all die, but this does not mean we all lived.
