What Do You Believe In
think outside the box and read between the lines
hidden messages everywhere we look
a look a move a style a glance a smile
instantly or hiding away
in a book on paper in a dollar bill
secret messages are leading us through
people hunt and search to find their way
avoiding walking under ladders
a black cat a sidewalk crack a totum poll
voodoo dolls and witch doctors
strong beliefs and strict laws all blend as one
faces covered lambs slaughtered
candles of all colors burning strong
apples hallowed out with names in them
you say i say we all say it must be ok
chicken blood cult rituals
all becomes ones own belief
we hold them near close to our hearts
until they take it away
