What Do We Have In Common

What do we have in
common let me think
a moment or two.
Two ears, two eyes,
two arms two legs
just to name a few.
One sky one earth
one mom and dad.
One life to live
good or bad.
Smiles and laughter
and belief in the
here after.
Living and growing
as the world spins
faster.
I live here and you
live there.
Nothing really
between us but miles
and air.
We should find a way
to bridge the gap.
And meet each other
no matter where at.
Then we can talk and
really see.
Just what is in
common between you
and me.
