What Do I Know
So what is it after
all is said
and done
that makes a poet a poet?
It's complicated.
Some people will never figure it out because they're complicated too.
Some people have too many excuses
so they are naturally excused.
Some people have no heart, no soul, no style
and that's what it takes.
That's all anyone needs.
