What did we learn from Mother Earths signal Cajoling us to be kind and gentle As our life upturned, with her message stern That she will not idly watch her home burn Whilst man heartlessly upon earth tramples Posterity will judge this parable Message received is direct and simple Art of living, with mindful eye discern What did we learn Earth strikes back; we pray for a miracle With narrow agendas on our table Consciousness darkened by lack of concern Though quick to take, we are slow to return Attitude of man, tragicomical What did we learn 20-May-2021
