What Comes After

It was in the middle of the night
When the wind was so cruel
The rain was rumbling
As if thunders are growling

The plants and trees are unseen
A lonely, foggy fields was in the scene
Where you can hear nothing but the cry
The cry of the black, starless sky

It’s like you’re in the middle of nowhere
Where light of hope was not clear
It was a night where darkness prevailed
Letting its own ugliness be revealed

I just let everything deafen my ear
As if I don’t really care
I just close my eyes and lay
Without any word I pray

When I open my eyes it’s already morning
And witnessed the sun gradually rising
I just smile after realizing
That indeed, after a great storm. . .
. .is a rainbow coming
