What Are You Going To Do About It?

I'm sick of feeling lonely
and crying about things that I
can't change.

I depend on friends who
should be classified in
a folder under acquaintances.

I spend a lot of time inside
my house wishing there was
some easy way out.
Sometimes I lose faith.
Sometimes I act out.

I want to be in school
so bad it hurts sometimes.
My friends all seem too cool
to hang out with my weirdo side.
Sometimes they do things that hurt

I want something to change
My life is far to plain
Now the question is
what am I going to do about it?
Nothing is going to change
if I let things stay the same.

School is a very socially difficult time for all. Everyone is only just beginning to discover who they are. Be true to yourself. In time your world will be beautiful, just like you. It is not always an easy journey, but you certainly seem to have everything going for you. Hang in there, and have faith. It will happen. Love, Shar

It could be that your peers haven't grown up enough to see what a wonderful person you are! There are so many of us who have gone back to class reunions, and have found that those fellow classmates, that we thought were "considered weird" back then, have turned out to be the most successful and happy individuals. You are talented and thoughtful, and someone will recognize that ...so don't give up! Love, Carrie
