What Am I

He still has my heart in his hands He carefully lays it down where it lands On the sands of the beach Where he teasingly tries not to preach About his love for me But my love for him is like a tree Growing more and more each day Growing stronger with the sun's last ray But then he might say That he has to leave, he has to go And he doesn't exactly know When he will be back But please don't let it rack my mind with furry For in time it will only cause worry For now we have parted I have gone into the sea He has darted onto the shore Now we will close that unclosing door
