What Am I
Formed in a desert
A true friend whom you can stand
Waves may put me down
Still, I raise you in near place
To show you the vast ocean.
I have pallid skin
Yet, aids to build your pillars
We’ll be elated
Surrounded by a cold breeze
My soft dust-grains feel your hands.
Storm waves rebuild me
I remain in windswept place
Of natures’ embrace
I feel God in you- His grace,
‘Tis inspires and gives me strength.
What Am I to you
If I am only like hills?
Despite life’s changes
For you, I’ll always be there,
To show you my love and care.
