What a Victory

How the whole world stood still
And the oceans wondered in silence
About that greatest happening in history
Which tingled every ear that heard

It's all about a man
Who put that wicked death to flight
And shattered the hope of the grave
With His big and irresistible blow

How miraculous is the story of the resurrection
Of Christ the Living One
Who for three days went to the place of the dead
And came back stronger than ever

He has risen to restore our hope
And forever has shut the door of the grave
That swallows all without mercy
Oh what a victory!
