You may have read that my husband has been undergoing cancer treatment for the 5th time since 2013. We don't dwell on it, and we are lucky that he has never been ill with it, he has had the treatment and we just get on with life.

Whilst my husband has received brilliant treatment in the UK and I have accompanied him at the hospital during his radiotherapy sessions, but all too often it can be overlooked that the spouse/partner needs support too! So if you know someone in this situation take time to ask how they are!

This is similar but not the same as the brooch I was sent by a 'souper' friend!

Jan, it is a privilege to know you and you are a wonderful spouse. You point out something wonderful...that we should have empathy for all care givers and those who sacrifice part of their time and thinking in the help of others. Many of us hold you in high regard for the kind of person you are. Smiles!!
