That is a cute comment MLK - by the way I so loved your doggy poem - we are moving to a new home as we have decided to go to a smaller house, we were rattling around in the home that three generations have lived in for the past fifty years and we have two Labs., the rules of the Estate we are moving to says only one dog, so we are keeping the one and our son is taking our older one - they know each other well just worried they will pine so will take Sassy for frequent visits to visit Dudley! hugs, Jennifer.

Thanks Ann - many have written below that us poets with our literary talents should try and make politicians aware - perhaps this is after all a good idea - no one is doing anything, these Ministers or Senators sit back and talk about everything else except saving the world - another idea has just come to mind, maybe they think that if millions die, the over-population of the world will be answered. That is the intention, but we must take it to heart and see who is prepared to actually sent our pleas for peace to Heads of State worldwide. John how lovely to have you visit - missed your presence and awesome comments, as is this one - hope you are well. I agree but I once wrote a poem, not sure if I have posted it that man is made to fight and win, even if his enemy is the next of kin - strange but nearly every family that I know or slightly know have inter-family politics. This same problem refers to and applies to internal politics in a country and therefore to international affairs - and of course there are also civil wars where brother fights brother and father fights son humans are so primal sometimes, yup the sixties philosophy of make love not war, might have brought about over-population, but there was no crossing of swords. The only committee that I ever accepted to get involved with was when I was young and silly, in a youth committee, never again SO! The politics even as young as we were always existed. Our youngest son studied honours in Journalism, worked for the Mail and Guardian as a sub-editor for a while, then a local newspaper, now he and one of his friends from his University days are doing well in their own business.
