What a Frightful Flight
If I'm able to reach to the
drifting sky,
I'd die literally... I'd lack
oxygen and my heart would
thump like a drum
If I reach too high in the
drifting, dusky sky,
I'd fall - I can't see the flowers
of plenty below my spoiled,
crusty feet
My worn-out feet
What a frightful flight,
I Know, Right?
Forever...
My dream drags on
And I'm floating like a
feather...rummaging in the
cotton candy clouds
Dismay douses me as my sweet
tooth becomes
satisfied...before the break of
dawn
And I'm drifting away with the
sea-blue sky waves and
disconsolate clouds
What a frightful flight,
I Know, Right?
